Before Buying The Digital Nikon Coolpix Camera … Read This Review

Why all the antagonistic reviews? The digital nikon coolpix camera is gorgeous and quite an eye-catcher! The touch-sensitive screen is responsive and I find that using the stylus helps against smear marks. The screen is nice and large but, like some other reviews, is just a bit grainy. Be assured the exact quality of the image on the digital nikon coolpix camera is far better than what you see on the LCD. Images are very clear and true to color! So far I particularly liked having the ability to write on a photograph with the stylus.

I’ve been using this camera in a array of conditions and subject matter and I just love it. As a ace in the field, I would have liked a camera that would have the zoom capability and the image quality of more costly (and heavier, bulkier ‘pro’ hardware ) mixed with the spontaneity and efficiency of a point & shoot, one-hand camera.

The digital nikon coolpix camera DELIVERS all that for me in a great small unit that is straightforward to use, light to carry, a breeze to navigate and still yields excellent high quality images. At four hundred dollars out the door at a retail store, I could not be happier with my purchase. I measured it against the rest of the cameras in that price range and it just blew the others away.

If you have $800-$1000 sure, go ahead and get one of the next level dSLRs like the D40 or D60. But if you do not wish to be messing with lens changes and like to ’shoot-on-the-go’, then you simply can’t do better than the digital nikon coolpix camera. It’s a flexible, straightforward to use product with a reasonable price-tag.

The digital nikon coolpix camera is as simple to use as an automated point – shoot for the occasional user, and all the bells and whistles like shutter priority, aperture concern and automatic focus. You can shoot several frames per -sec for still photographs and can take videos.

Oh, and the price is 25 percent less than the 4.0 megapixel camera that it replaced. I suggest buying a two-year warranty extension, available for roughly $15, a bargain.
